Will It Be Safe To Take Vitamin C And Zimplex Tablet For Swelling On Hands And Feet?

Hi, my friend has HIV and her hands and feet are swollen. We understand that she has to take her ARV's but the day hospital here says that they will only give those tablets to her once they see that she needs them. My question is, will the swelling become worse?
She is currently taking vitamin c tablets as well as Zimplex (for zinc) and are the tablets affecting her negatively?

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
When there is no clinical evidence that proves that your friend is HIV positive, then talking in that sense is useless neither it is good idea to correlate her health problem with the HIV, the swelling could be due to some other conditions and that need to be investigated, but to control this is equally important, taking vitamin supplements wont help her, first thing is get done the hemoglobin test, if she found low hemoglobin level then she should be given iron tab, and that will reduce the swelling, hope this information helps you, have good time.
