Hi,

I can understand your concerns. Although marijuana does not reduce the anti-inflammatory (pain relieving) effects of naproxen however, marijuana when taken along with naproxen can increase the risk of liver damage. Your wife must inform her doctor if she gets fever, right upper abdominal pain, yellowish discoloration of the skin or eyes as these may be signs and symptoms of liver damage.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Mohammed Taher Ali, General & Family Physician
