Will Healed Injury Affect Leg Permanently?

good morning doctor, i am an army officer and received a stress fracture on my right tibia due to road running. i got injured last year in sep-oct and it has not healed completely yet. initially i was even very painful to walk but now there is no pain in walking but can not run properly. i am afraid if it can effect my leg permanently. plz help.
