Will Gallstones Cause Tiredness, Aches And Shortness Of Breath?

I have had a full blood work up and everything came back okay. They performed an ultrasound and found gallstones in which I will be meeting with the surgeon to discuss options Stress test performed and all looks good. I m a 49-year-old female and I m finding myself extremely tired, achy and some shortness of breath. I have begun taking vitamin D. First question would be can gallstones cause the symptoms ? Is there any other ideas as to what could cause the symptoms ? Thank you

hi.

noted history of gallstones, fatigue, and shortness of breath. your presenting symptoms are constitutional and may not be related to your gallstone pathology. it is possible that your doctor is investigating further to rule out any cardiac pathology, hence, the stress testing. usual symptoms presented in conditions related to gallstone disease are abdominal pain, fever, nausea, vomiting, jaundice. it is best if you do a follow-up consult with your doctor, for physical examination and clinical evaluation. your stress test result is also important. other diagnostics and management will be directed accordingly.

hope this helps.

good day!!
