Will Chlamydia Show Up In A Urine Test?

Hi I was recently informed by my partner that his previous partner had just tested positive for chlamydia...... Meaning I may have contracted it. He also does not know if has it yet. Anyhow, my question is, I am female, can I get tested for this just thru urine test? Would a doctor make me get other tests? I really dislike doctors and being uncomfortable if you know what I mean.... Can I just go to a clinic and ask for that one test?

I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.

Chlamydia infection is one of the most common bacterial infection transmitted by sex. It can be tested from body fluid or urine sample. So you can tested chlamydia from your urine sample only. No pelvic examination or no any other test is required. You can just go for single test. Don't worry much about that. Just be relaxed. You can go to the lab and ask for one test only.
