Will Being Over Weight Cause Frequent Rbcs In Urine ?
male 50 yrs 130 kgs on hypertension ,thyroid.and light anti depressants. Have noticed RBC in urine since years and been to several doctors. the opinion of a senior urologist suggested that the same is due to over weight as the weight presses the bladder which may be releasing this blood....but i need to know why. presently the rbcs are 16/hpf

This is probably due to severe urinary infection. You should drink plenty of water. You should get cystoscopy and other urine tests to find the cause as bleeding as in this age you should be cautious.
