Will Applying Ice Reduce Swelling In Anus?

i got some swellin in my anus...not the full ring but the little area from the anus to almost the tip of my vagina..that ltttle area just got a bit swollen and i cant use my bowels can u tell me how that happened and i cud do to bring down the swelling ? i know ice helps to bring down swelling will it work ?
