Will Angiogram Detect All The Blockages?

I had an angiogram and 2 stent placements this past December. I am on Lipitor (bad cholesterol level is 140) and I am taking two BP medicines to lower BP. I walk four miles a day, I am 65 years old and have always been active. My question is "Did the angiogram find any and all problems with any blockages in my system?"

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello, Was the Angiogram for your heart arteries or elsewhere?
Please do let us know that so we can get a better idea.
Usually, a Coronary Angiogram will screen all arteries supplying blood to the heart and will not miss any blockages. Therefore, you need not worry. The Cardiologist would have seen all the arteries and dealt with all the blockages that merited intervention. Therefore relax and do not worry.
However, to be sure you can meet your Cardiologist and he/ she would be able to tell you whether there are any more concerns with your heart.
Take care,
Dr Rishi, New Delhi, India.
