Will Percocet And Hydrocodone Show Up On A Drug Screen As The Same Class Of Drug?
Yes, I was wondering if Percocet and Hydrododone will show up on a drug screen as the same "class" of drug? My husband takes one and I take the other, but I accidentally took his since they look identical:) In case of a random drug screen at my job, do you think I will be ok from this mistake or should I just tell my employer if i should get tested, I would hate to lose my job for an honest "mix-up"! Percocet contains oxycodone and acetaminophen. Hydrocodone is taking on its own or in combination with acetaminophen.
In drug testing any concentrations above the cut off will indicate positive for opiates for persons using hydrocodone and positive for oxycodone for persons using percocet.
The detection period in the urine is 2 to 4 days. You may want to consider speaking to your boss to avoid any fallout.
