Will Indapamide Intake Along With Metformin Reduce Its Effectiveness?

I am currently taking Metformin and recently had another kidney stone. My doctor recommended taking Indapamide to assist in getting rid of sodium and calcium which are elevated in my urine. Is this a good choice since Indapamide reduces the effectiveness of Metformin
