Will ER Be Needed For Discoloration In The Back Of Throat?

I feel like I have been punched in the throat, when in fact I have not. I have pain on the left side of my throat just below my jaw. I have some pain when swallowing. It also hurts when I open my mouth all the way. It looks like I have discoloration in the back of my throat. Should I go to the ER?

hello thanks for the consult at hcm,it might be case of tonsilitis,, either wys plz do salt water gargle thrice daily, even betadine gargle is helpful, u might need a course of antibiotics r analgesics,,kindly consult ur ent specialist asap,,hope it helps,,tc,,
