Will Coveram 10mg Affect Sexual Activity?

Im 55 years old. I m using Coveram 10/10 as treatment for hypertension. Does it affect sexual activity? What medicine can I take beside Coveram occasionally when my blood pressure comes up to 160/90 sometimes. I m diabetic type 1. My blood sugar is almost under control. I m using Crestor 10 for lipid. Any warning on using Viagra or Cialis please?

Hello dear
Understand your concern.
Coveram contain amlodipine , calcium channel locker can affect sexual activity.
It causes vasodilation of the penis blood vessels, penis unable to erect for long time, mostly bay amlodipine as it prevents the calcium entry in muscle that has a constrictor action.

You can use losartan and selective beta blocker after consult the doctor.
Viagra add up the lowering effect on blood pressor
So use very cautiously , and report doctor if headache, high pulse rate, dizziness and sweating due to hypo tension.
