Will Cefixime, Prednisolone Syrup And Nebulization Help In Treating An Infant S Cold?

I have my son 7 months 18 days old, One month ago he just got cold and went to child specialist advised medicine like Cefixime, Prednisolone syrup and two types of nivolization like buticort + normal saline and ipress, sultolin + normal saline. Now again he just got cold same like last month. Can I use the same dosages above listing? My son always got cold because I have also my asthma problem. I think genetically he also got it. Please advise. I need to mention here that from 4 days I am giving him nivolization and taking precodil syrup but he is not getting cured and this is why I am giving him cefixime from today morning 3/4 tea spoon.

Hello,

Yes, you can give him the same doses but just for 5 days on your own, if he doesn't recover even after 5 days then do consult his pediatrician.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
