Why Would I Get A Strange Smell Off Of The Drink I Had Along With Imitrex For Severe Migraine?

I woke up at around 4:30 this morning with the beginning of a severe migraine. I got up to took imitrex with a drink. For some reason, the juice had a very strange taste and sensation when I drank and I was smelling odd smells. Do you have any idea why?

Hi,

Imitrex should not be mixed with alcohol. Avoid it while taking medication or else you will land up with severe headaches.
