Why There Is Larger Looking Chest Bone On The Left Side Of My Son?
my son has a larger looking chest bone on left side, nipple is dipped in on right side, no pain no swelling or previous broken bones, took him to dr this am and going for x ray wednesday just wondering what i may look under on computer to give me a piece of mind till then, thanks
As he has a larger chest on the side than others, why don't you check for his spine? If he has a deviation of the same then it might be a postural habit which has been adapted over a period of time.
An x-ray will only reveal the structural anatomical alignment of the ribs and spinal column. Wait till the film reports come post which you can think of the next step.
For now, look for the postural correction and breathing exercises to avoid pulmonary system suppression.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
