Why Should Intake Of Dairy Products Be Limited While On Methotrexate?

HI, I take methotrexate so for rheumatoid and psoriatic arthritis, it said to limit dairy but yet give me a calcium supplement for the day after I take them. Why do they say to limit dairy and what happens if I do eat dairy? I have lost several unwanted pounds and need to drink protein drinks or boost. That s dairy.
