Why My Kid Is Not Getting Proper Sleep?

Hi Doc, my baby boy is 5 months old, he doesn t sleep soundly and get up by hourly basis. Is it because of lesser milk consumed? 2) Can I start feeding him Lactogen alongwith breast milk? 3) Is it safe to feed him Cerelac/Farex? How may feedings per day and quantity.

Hello. Welcome to HCM. As a Sleep Baby consultant and also a Lactation Consultant i want to tell you that sleep has nothing to do with food or milk intake. It is because your baby hasn't learn to sleep independently or to self-soothe. Practically he has a sleep association and that makes him wake up after every sleep cycle and he searches for the thing that puts him to sleep. A good bedtime routine and an appropriate day regime will help him. Don't let the baby awake for more than 2 hours. If you still have difficulties contact me and we can do a Sleep Training to your baby.
