Why My Gums Are Sore And Bruised?

I have a crown on a tooth and about a week ago I started having pain next to it. The tooth does not hurt but my gums are sore and it looks like a small bruise next to my crown. The pain has not worsened but has not gone away. should I see my dentist or my doctor?

Hi,
Thanks for posting the query,

I would suggest you to apply dologel oral ointment topically over the bruise at home take lukewarm saline and antiseptic mouthwash rinses, maintain a good oral hygiene take multivitamin suplements, if the syptoms still persists get it examined by the Dentist.

Take care!
