My daughter is two years old. She had a surgery this morning and had to be put under anastisia she is now sleeping but she's moaning at the same time. I wondered if she was not getting enough air so I was carring her but she's still moaning and feels very warm.

Hi
Welcome to healthcaremagic
Your daughter was given general anesthesia. It is either short GA for small procedures or proper GA for longer procedures. Most probably she was given short GA.In which ketamine and midazolam are given.Ketamine causes dissociate anesthesia. Meaning they are semiconscious but not aware of surrounding. So they can moan in it before coming out of it completely. So don't worry.Wait for some time.If no improvement in 10 minutes then inform anesthetist
