Why Is The Hard Lump On The Top Of The Inner Thigh?
Hi - I have a small hard lump at the top of my inner thigh about the size of a fingernail. It does not hurt but has just started to become "itchy" around the area.....any idea if I should be worried about it? I have had a lypuma on my stomach before but this is slightly bigger. There is no bleeding or discharge

ello, Welcome to HCM, A swelling on the top of the inner side of the thigh with itching are signs of fungal infection which is also called as jock itch. whenever there is a favorable environment for the growth of fungus in this area, the normally existing fungus will get activated and produces the symptoms of the fungal infection. Most common cause for these symptoms will be 1.Improper hygiene and cleaning 2.Friction 3.Pressure 4.UTI 5.Wet environment Lipoma on the stomach has got no role on this symptoms, it is nothing but a growth of fat cells in a thin, fibrous capsule usually found just below the skin. Thank you.
