Why Is My Newborn Continuously Crying Without Sleeping?
Dear Doctor,
My son is 60 days old and he is crying continuously for the past 3 days without sleep.Because my wife was not producing more milk, we used NAN Pro1 since 22nd day(min 1 feed(30ml) per day and max 2/3 feeds per day)We went to a doctor nearby and the doctor had prescribed the following
The baby is crying due to a gastric discomfort.Hence he had asked to immediately stop NAN Pro1 and continue to do breast feeding.
He had prescribed crocin drops and after consuming the baby would sleep in 5 minutes.
Also, he had suggested Nasal spray incase there is any choking in the baby's nose.
We administered crocin drops last night, then the baby slept for 2 hrs.After then, the baby is still crying. Can you please suggest considering the above mentioned scenario. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

I really appreciate your concern for your baby, first thing I wold like to say here that the crying tendency could be one of cause that your baby is crying too much and the second is top feeding the new born baby if on top feeding then chances of crying baby is very likely because of the allergic condition that could develop due to the top feeding, now you have to stop the top feeding, do not give any medicine without the good reason, put the baby in cradle while crying (Hand held cradle is the only good) the kid will stop crying immediately, have good day.
