Why Is My Heart Missing Beats?

my heart seems to miss a beat when i take my pulse then i keep burping i have recently had an op on my knee and am worried it may have affrected my heart i am also having to do exercises which are painful and ars stressed ot i am a 79 year old woman

Hello

Upto 4 to 6 missed beats per minute after 65 years of age are acceptable but if they are more frequent then its need evaluation with the help of HOLTER MONITORING which is a 24 or 48 hrs ECG monitoring done with a portable device. Once the abnormal rhythm is detected then it should be treated accordingly.
