A high pulse rate could be due to palpitations. If you are prone to anxiety then you are most likely to have palpitations due to increased anxiety levels. If that is the case, then try to reduce anxiety by meditating or de stressing yourself by listening to soothing music or engaging in any other activity that helps you to de stress. Cut down on your intake of caffeine if you drink coffee and tea. Try decaffeinated coffee or weak tea instead. Green tea is a better option and good for health. Avoid alcohol and limit its intake to not more than one drink a day.Try to stay calm and relaxed by sleeping well at night.

Exercise by doing brisk walk for atleast 30 minutes a day 5 times a week. Do some deep breathing exercises early in the morning when the air is fresh and unpolluted.

If your problem still persists, then you get a complete heart check-up done which includes ECG, 2D Echo and consult a cardiologist for his opinion.

Hope this will help to solve your problem.
