Why Is Z Pak Used Along With Other Antibiotics For UTI And Diverticulitis?

My Dr has me on three antibiotics, macrobid for uti, flagyl for divirticulitis episode and a zpack, now I couldn t understand what the zpack was for, the nurse said it s because of a natural bacteria we have in the vagina, but I have an over growth of that bacteria, it was found when he did my pap smear. What is this bacteria and why would I have an over growth of it and two can I get cdiff from so much antibiotics?

I really appreciate your concern, the medicine that is being given to you is antibiotic and it need to be given in case of infection, if this is the infection then you have to complete the course of antibiotic, and this is nothing to worry, hope this information helps, take care, and have a nice day.
