Hi welcome to HCM.
Pet scan is useful in evaluating the fraction of salvageable myocardium post arterial obstruction. It can document the extent of myocardium that can recover after in situ stent placement.90% blockade warrants percutaneous angioplasty. This is not cured by medicines alone.Restoration of adequate blood flow is the prime goal of management.A screening 2 dimensional echocardiogram of the heart can assess the ejection and pumping function of heart simultaneously.Consult your cardiologist for further queries.
Thank you.
