Why Is Ovral G Prescribed While Being Due For IVF Treatment?

Ivf has been planned on 4th Feb 2017 My wife period started yesterday night 24 Dec Doctor has advised ovral g tablet for 15 days As per our knowledge ovral g is birth control tablet Why the tablet is required Will she have her periods in January naturally Is it possible for us to take another chance naturally during January before going fir ivf if she doesn t conceive Please update Thanks

Hi actually ovral g is given to downregulate the follicles so that the growth is synchronised and you get good number of follicles. She will have periods after stopping the pill. So it will be a withdrawal bleeding for her. You can try naturally but there is little chance of pregnancy.
