Why Is Norzyme Prescribed Along With Zaltoprofen?

I recently received 10 stitches in my forehead, a cut that I didn t think even needed any stitches and only went because of my girlfriends over reaction to the situation. I was given the stitches and sent on my way. The doctor gave me Soleton (Zaltoprofen), Norzyme, Acupan (Nefopam), and MEIACT (Cefditoren). I understand what the drugs are for. My question is why did they prescribe Norzyme? Is it just because Soleton is sometimes hard on the digestive system?

You are right in your assumption. As you are prescribed many medicines having abdominal discomfort as a main side effect individually of every medicine, it is very much possible that combining all these will create problems related with indigestion.

Norzyme is medicine that contains multiple enzymes that help in digestion and so the adverse effects of the medicines are not felt or felt with lower intensity.
