Why Having Burning Sensation In Throat After Swallowing Medication?

I woke up this morning with a feeling in my throat as if I had swallowed some gum I have been chewing on and off for a few days. I tried hooking it out with my finger but it has just made it sore now. I had a bad acid reflux attack a couple of weeks ago but that cleared up. Last night I felt a burning sensation in my throat after swallowing my medication which I have had experience with before. I am drinking hot tea now as advised online. Could you tell me if I need to see my GP or practice nurse?ho

Hello, Welcome Thanks for consulting HCM,
I have gone through your query, you have mentioned that you have burning sensation in throat and difficulty in swallowing you should do is avoid taking spicy hot food,
Do warm saline gargle two - three times a day
Take one Capsule Zevit twice daily for one week
If you wont get relief then consult physician
Hope this will help you.
