Why Have Many People Become Sensitive, Deathly Ill From Perfumes?

People everywhere, including in hospitals, offices, places of work, etc. are being asked to refrain from wearing scented products and I have yet to see any public education on the science behind this request. Why have so many people become sensitive, even deathly ill, from perfumes/
Now I see that you cannot even send me to a site with info on this question without getting paid for it...so take a hike.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

At present it is unclear whether the response to fragrances is a true allergy or whether it is simply a response to an irritant.

It is thought however that the reason for the increased numbers of persons with problems with scents may be due to the increased number of scents and also they are found in almost everything from soaps and perfumes to cleaning agents.

I hope this helps
