Why Eardrum Getting Sensitive To Loud Sounds After The Nose Blown Hardly?

HI

I did a nasal irrigation 2 weeks ago and i accidentally blew my nose really hard during the process. Now both of my eardrums are REALLY sensitive with loud noises, they even vibrates loudly when people talks. I also got a stiff jaw after that too but the stiffness comes and goes everyday. Did i permanently damaged my eardrum?

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Blowing nose while doing nasal irrigation or at the time of cold can lead to reflux of secretions/micro organisms to the middle ear causing fluid in middle ear or acute middle ear infection.Such cases usually respond to nasal decongestant drops. If the symptoms persist please consult your doctor for examination of ear.
