Why Does One Suggest Pantosec DSR?

I have a body pain and fever with low blood pressure.Doctor prescribed me clavam 625 , Voveran plus and Pantosec DSR. I can undrstand that Clavam 625 is for infection and Voveran plus for body pain and fever . but could not understand that y I got Pantosec DSR

Pantosec DSR is Pantoprazole. It is used to treat gastric and duodenal ulcer. In your case it is prescribed to counter act the gastric irritation caused by Clavam 625 and Voveran Plus. Both these drugs have potential to cause gastric irritation commonly known as " acidity".
