I am male 25 i am a photographer and i want to know that why my voice sound like a girl in phone or recording ,... but in normal time its ok .. i am very depressed for that and losing my confidence while talking over phone ,, i feel humiliating and affraid of talking people over phone ...

Sometimes males have slightly feminine voices that may become more obvious in recordings or over the phone. This is called as puberphonia and can be corrected surgically. It means that your vocal cords have more tension or stretch than usual and hence when they vibrate, they create a higher frequency of sound. By shortening the length of the vocal cords it makes the vocal cords thicker thereby making them vibrate with lower frequency. This procedure is called as a thyroplasty.
