Why Does It Feel Like A Chip Stuck In My Throat?
It feels like there's a chip stuck in my throat. It isn't painful to breathe or talk. I can just barely feel it when I swallow but I have a persisting cough that makes it feel like its ripping up my throat. I did eat chips last night about 3 hours before bed, but it didnt hurt until after waking up today. What do I do?

Brief Answer - Foreign body entrance.
As per your query you have chip stuck in throat and piece of chips acting as foreign body in your throat which will cause accumulation of bacteria and other microorganisms in that area. Due to this accumulation chances of obstruction are there. I would suggest you to visit immediately Gastroenterologist or ENT surgeon for the same. Get fiberoptic scan done. Small non invasive fibro optic procedure will remove this piece which is struck in your throat. This is a little alarming condition which you should not be careless about. As chips piece got stick in that area its difficult to get it removed with water.
