Why Do My Ears Feel Plugged?
I have a plugged left ear that at times feels like I have bugs crawling inside my ear. Along with that I have nasal drip that causes me to continuously clear my throat. The ENT said there is absolutely nothing wrong with my ears and that the nasal drip could be silent reflux so he prescribed Prilosec. I have been using it for 10 days and so far nothing! Hasn t touched it. Can you help?

As your ENT has clearly examined you and found nothing, you should not be worried. Sometimes, too much of a worry and focus on the ear issues will aggravate your symptoms. Most likely cause for a plugged ear is wax and I am sure your ENT has ruled out this and other causes too. If you still have doubts, you need to visit another ENT because only by looking into the ears can a solution be given for these symptoms.
