Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi, I ve noticed the past few weeks that my daughter has been widening her eyes at random times. At first I thought it was only when she was watching TV, but I noticed today she did it quite frequently while playing as well. She says they aren t sore. She is 5.
I have carefully worked through your case and want to assure you that I will take care all of your daughter's health issues.
It happens when eyes get dried up or there is some problem with eyesight. When tear film on the front side of eye gets dried up due to some issue, we need to blink time and again and wide opening of eyelids. Symptoms can also be associated with issues with eyesight. One more possibility is the inturned eyelid hair.
You need to take her to an Ophthalmologist for proper evaluation in-person. Treatment goes accordingly.
Hope it helps. Feel free to contact me anytime for further assistance.
Regards! DR.HANIF USA
