Cannot say in your particular case and, alcohol is a stimulant of stomach motion and acidity. It also lowers the tone of the top of the stomach allowing stomach contents to go upward and irritate that area (reflux). Irritation in the stomach and/or reflux produces pain in the top of the abdomen going to the chest. It is often associated with a sour taste.
Most over the counter stomach meds are helpful. This does NOT require a LOT of alcohol but of course increased volume, carbonation, lying down would all make it more likely to occur.
Generally it is NOT an ulcer but black or red stools or other signs of bleeding wwould be a sign of a more serious condition.
