Why Do I See Lot Of Blood During Bowel Movement?

The last two days I have had excessive amount of bright red blood when I have a bowel movement (the toilet water doesnt even dilute the bright red color because there is so much blood) and my stool has been very soft and loose for the past month. I don't have any pain while having a bowel movement but extreme cramping right before I need to go. Any idea of why this is happening?

Hi,
Since you don't have history of constipation or hard stool or difficulty in defecation and frank blood, the most probable cause may be hemorrhoids. The other causes may be any damage to the mucosal lining of rectum. You are required to consult your doctor once for examination to diagnose and further management. As examination is must in per rectal bleeding for diagnosis.
