Why Do I Have Spreading Bumps On My Skin?
i use obagie for years and retin a. I am 61. I had a large raised bump( pimple like but redder near my eye-It had a white or liquid top. it broke and now it spread. I went to dermatologist and he gave me kefles- 3x day and murapin topical ointment and it is still spreading. He sent it to the lab it tested negative foe staph and he looked at it and he said itlooks lioke acne but he said frankly I don t know what you have I have never seen this. I have seen him 2x and the third will be in two days. Last night I had a huge prickly bunp appear at the end of my eyebrow and it swelled with a liquid -I gloved and punctured it and and cleaned it with hibiclense and alcohol and the muripcin and it felt better and it crusted yellow. What have i picked up a I am going nuts and the meds are holding it at bay but nothing. I am a clean moral person and I can t believe this! lhelp!

These are deep bacterial infections.
Treatment is with antibiotics but the choice of antibiotics should be based on culture and sensitivity tests.
