Why Do I Have An Urgent Bowel Movement? Why Am I Nauseated Often?
i would say maybe 14 times in the last 5 years i have an urgent bowel movement not diarhea but not normal either. then i begin to salivate and then either have dry heaves if i haven t eaten or vomit up what i have eaten. it doesn t necessarily happen afteri have eaten and has even happened in the middle of the night. i will remain pretty nauseated for a while and sometimes will develop a headache and cold sweats too.
* Seems more likely to be related to stress-induced hormone release related to hyperactivity of intestine responsible for such episodes. In absence of stress, pathology of intestines or certain hormone secreting pathologies can be sorted out with a gastroenterologist.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
