HELLO CHRISTINA & WELCOME TO HCM FORUM

YOU ARE A YOUNG AND YOUR BLOOD PRESSURE SHOULD BE 120/80 MM Hg

AS YOU HAVE ALREADY EXPLAINED IT APPEARS THAT YOUR BLOOD PRESSURE IS SHOOTING UP BECUASE OF ANXIETY.

YOU DONT GET WORRIED . BLOOD PRESSURE TAKEN ONCE AT ANY TIME MAY BE MILDLY RAISED BUT IT DOES'NT INDICATE THAT YOU ARE SUFFERING FROM HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE

YOU SHOULD TAKEHIGH FIBRE, LOW FAT DIET AND DO PHYSICAL ACTIVITY SUCH AS 4-5 KM WALK WALK OR 30 MIN BRISK WALK DAILY FOR A PERIOD OF 3-4 WEEKS

IF YOUR BLOOD PRESSURE AGAIN FIND TO BE ELEVATED THEN MEDICINE SHOULD BE CONSIDERED

CONSIDERING YOUR BLOOD PRESSURE LEVEL THERE IIS NO NEED OF ANY MEDICATION AND CAN BE MANAGED BY DIET CHANGE AND PHYSICAL ACTIVITY.

YOU SHOULD ALSO GO FOR RENAL ARTERY COLOUR DOPPLER TO RULE OUT RENAL ARTERY STENOSIS
IF YOUR BLOOD PRESSURE REMAIN ELEVATED

YOU SHOULD ALSO CONSULT PHYSICIAN

TAKE CARE
