Why Did The Mucous Turn Green From Being Clear While On Antibiotic For Sinus Infection?
I started Zithromax therapy oct 12. I had a sinus infection, but clear mucus coming from chest. Since the 12th I ve been coughing vigorously trying to loosen chest congestion. I finally did, and now it s light green. Could this be what was left over from the beginning of my sinus infection? The Zpack immediately took care of the sinus infection. But this lingering cough is not fun. Is it normal for your mucus to be clear, than turn green while on an antibiotic?

Cleaning cough is not right process , probably require medication consult ENT doctor for proper tretment
