Why Are My Hands Extremely Red?

my hands are beat red. i was diagnosed with skin lupus in oct. 2009. I was tested for anemia and I'm fine. sometimes it feels like my veins in my arms and legs hurt, i'm not sure if it has to do with my skin lupus or something else. thank you.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Respected user, hi I evaluated your query thoroughly.
*So far as redness is concerned it`s related to
- common skin reaction of lupus : patches of red and raised "discoid" skin
lesions on sun exposed areas such as face and hands.
- very thin, fair skin texture making underlying vessels more prominent -
hypercirculation of microvessels
- certain body gestures like rubbing frequently - anxiety related -
idiopathic without reasons.
*As you had lupus in 2009 , I would suggest to consult a Skin specialist at
earliest, get perfect diagnosis & cure accordingly.
hope this clears your doubts.
Thanks for using Health Care Magic & keeping trust in our medical services
Wishing you fine speedy recovery from the same.
