Why Are Adderall Xr Pills Not Working?
hello, i ve been prescribed adderal xr, but on the pills it says that they are amphet. salts. 20 mg. I am 20 years old male, and have POSSIBLE adult add, but the pills do wonders for me when they work! it s only been about 2 - 3 weeks and they dont really do anything for me anymore. Is this a bad thing?

If your Adderall XR isn't working anymore, it could be due to several reasons such as the dosage may be incorrect, adherence may be an issue, co-existing disorders may impede the medications effectiveness or having other another medical condition producing ADHD like symptoms like infection triggered autoimmune encephalitis etc. Again, the effect of Adderall XR diminished as your brain got used to the new workflow that the medication imposes.
Adderall XR is still working but not as much as in the begging when your brain was just getting used to it and it was hijacking your state. Now, it is a good time for you to take a step back and try to assess how you really feel under Adderall XR. Just keep in mind that the initial effects of Adderall were never meant to be parmanent. That initial phase is an exaggeration of what Adderall XR is really supposed to be. You should consult your doctor immediately.
