Why Are Susten Tablets Prescribed During Pregnancy?

Hi doc

My wife has missed her period 4 days and I went to doctor as she had a miss carriage at 5 month on March 2016. Due to baby had nuchalfold and dandiwalker

Now as we meet the doctor took the pregnancy test it becomes negative

She gave us SUSTEN SR 400 tablet for 5 days will it affects our baby if my wife is pregnant

Hi,

Susten contain progesterone. It support pregnancy and promote growth of pregnancy. It does not affect pregnancy. Use it under advise of gynecologist and regular growth monitoring of baby by USG scan should be done. Avoid stress, take healthy diet, take rest, maintain proper pelvic hygiene.
