Why Am I Not Reducing Weight With A Low Calorie Diet?

I have been eating healthy, whole wheat, no pasta, egg whites, lean meats no beef, fish, chicken, non-fat plain Greek yogurt, daily calories 2000 or less, 4 small meals a day and exercising - alternating daily cardio with weightlifting. I am 62 years old and a diabetic. I can t lose any weight. Why?

Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
In spite of your care, you are not losing weight means, the cause may be hormonal. It may be hypothyroidism, or elevation of the estrogen compared to the testosterone.
Practicing maintenance exercises like morning walk, yoga, or gardening.
Minimize the sleeping time, late to bed and early to rise. Avoid day sleeping.
Take more of green leafy vegetables ,pulses, sprouts, and protein
rich foods, to have good health, iron, and resistance against the infections.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
