Why Am I Getting Puss Filled Itchy Boils In My Private Parts?

I have been getting boils on my private part, I learnt it s called the manse, for about 6 years now. The boils are painful and itchy and full of pus. I have seen doctors and taken some medications, I have been advised by a doctor to either shave everyday, or let the hair grow out. I still have these boils. I need help, it s embarrassing!

Hi,

It may be folliculitis. Consult the dermatologist for the perfect diagnosis and proper treatment. You may be having poor immunity. Your doctor would do investigations to find out internal morbidity. I would recommend a course of antibiotics and anti-inflammatory drugs. Along with that, I would also give medication to elevate the immunity, like Levamisole.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilyas Patel,
