Why Am I Experiencing Pain In My Neck After A Long Gap ?
Hi, I am 29 yrs of age, 5 3 in height & 50 kg., i was diagnose last 2008 of wry neck and they give me a cream to apply and painkillers . After 2 yrs. i feel the pain on my left neck down my left shoulders and left chest to my left arms, and also on my back, i went to see the same specialist and was diagnose the same, and after 9 months i am feeling the same pain again. Please help. Thanks

Wry neck or medically known as Torticollis is a condition where the neck becomes stiff due to muscle spasm and even contracture of cervical spine muscles.It is congenital;acquired;or spasmodic.You have either acquired or spasmodic for which your doctor had given treatment.The common forms of treatment are
-using analgesic
-treatment for the sprain or injury which ever is the cause
-neck massage
-use of neck collar
-hot pack or ice pack
-local injection of botox
-and if there is no result then even surgery can be option of treatment.
So please consult your doctor and discuss the better line of treatment.
