Why I Am Getting Pain On My Chest After Having An Accident?

I was hit in the chest very hard with a blunt instrument. It took the breath out of me and I was unabe to call out for help--have been on anti inflamatorys and pain meds it is very painful to lay down bend down or have any pressure on that area

In my opinion you should first undergo chest x ray. As many times blunt chest trauma cann cause rib fracture and pulmonary contusion. Both these conditions can cause similar pain.pain on each breathing movement. Chest x ray can easily diagnose this. And the treatment is rib belt, rest, avoid movement of the injured part, take good pain killers and muscle relaxant. .
