White Pimple Like Bumps On The Skin After Getting A Tattoo. Any Advice?

Hi my boyfriend got a new tattoo last week,on saturday he startd getting lil white head pimple like bumps around it itchy ones.by sunday they spread down his arm.he had stoppd using a&d ointment.monday they moved to his othr arm n 2on his thigh.he went to dr and they said its scabies but out of 6of us in household hes the only one with it and its wierd how it startd around the tattoo..

Hello,

Scabies is caused by hitch mite.
It is highly contagious.
Avoid close contact and sharing of his belongings.
The mite mainly prefer moist areas like the web folds of the fingers and skin folds.
Topical lotions and anti histamines are used.
It may be coincidental after the tattoo or acquired form them due to close contact during the process of tattooing.
