Geriatrics Specialist 's  Response
Hi,
I went through your history and my opinion is as follows:
1. CEA levels are not useful in screening or diagnosing cancer in general population
2. It can be elevated in chronic smokers.
3. Normal levels is 4. Further evaluation is based on any other associated symptoms as it is elevated in upto 10-12 cancers.
5. Its only useful in evaluation of recurrence of the above 10-12 cancers.

Unless you have symptoms, you need not worry. Depending on symptoms you have to meet the respective specialist.
Any further queries, happy to help you again.
